123 Night World Cruise sailing from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona aboard Crystal Serenity.

Highlights of this cruise:

Ft Lauderdale
Known as the "Venice of America," Fort Lauderdale is to Miami, what poetry is to prose. Despite the two cities being only 30 miles apart, there is a world of difference between them. With its stunning beaches, thriving arts, and culture scene, and picturesque waterways, Fort Lauderdale offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. Visitors can soak up the sun on the pristine white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach, explore the arty, independent boutiques and restaurants along Las Olas Boulevard, or take a scenic boat tour through the city's intricate network of canals. The city also boasts a diverse range of attractions, including world-class museums, lush parks, and bustling nightlife.

Roatan
Here, where the skies are wide expanses of blue, waters are a transparent turquoise, and beaches are pure white edged by lush green palms, you can aim a point-and-shoot in almost any direction and get a beautiful picture. Photography aside, you can also dive, snorkel and swim with the dolphins. You might opt to explore the reef in a glass-bottom boat, go into town to shop for island crafts, or see the butterfly and floral gardens.

Panama Canal
The Panama Canal famously connects the Pacific Ocean with the Caribbean Sea. It began its activity in 1914, quickly becoming a crucial waterway for maritime trade. While traversing this iconic waterway, you can admire the glorious natural landscapes, which are just 15 minutes away from Panama City.

Salaverry
Found about equidistant between the Ecuadorian border and Lima, Salaverry enjoys a happy placement on the Peruvian coastline. Originally a very quiet small fishing village, the fishing boats still set out at sunset, a centuries-old tradition that sustains the town. Salaverry has enjoyed expansion in recent years, notably by the surfing comunity who come here looking for a quiet place to ride the waves. However, surfing is not the town's only claim to fame. Salaverry invites exploration with its blend of history and local life and carries a rich history that stretches back to ancient times. It was originally inhabited by the Moche civilization, known for their remarkable pottery and intricate metalwork. Later, it became a significant part of the Chimú Kingdom, which thrived in the region. The town's proximity to Chan Chan, the capital of the Chimú, attests to its historical importance. Today, Salaverry stands as a blend of its ancestral roots, colonial heritage, and modern life-a destination where history whispers through its streets and cultural sites.

Valparaiso
Valparaíso, Chile's most artistic city, is vibrant canvas where colorful houses climb steep hills, embraced by the Pacific breeze. Founded in the 16th century, the city's history dates back to the 16th century, when Spanish explorers discovered its natural harbor. Its strategic location along the trade routes made it a crucial port, attracting ships from around the world. Today, the city's diverse architecture reflects this history, blending colonial, European, and indigenous influences. The city's cultural scene flourished during Chile's economic booms in the 19th century and attracted many intellectuals, writers, and artists. Their legacy live on: Valparaíso was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023, celebrated for its rich history and vibrant artistic culture. Its hills showcase colorful houses, connected by winding streets and iconic ascensores (funiculars). These elements are a living testament to the city's past, its role as a crossroads of cultures, and its enduring appeal to travelers seeking a taste of history and creative inspiration.

Punta Arenas
Located at the southernmost tip of Chile, Punta Arenas is a vibrant city in the region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica. It is known for three things: one as the commercial center for the Patagonian agricultural area of Chile, two, as the self-proclaimed southern most city in the world, and three, as gateway to the stunning landscapes of Patagonia. The city has a rich history, closely tied to the maritime and exploratory expeditions of the past. Today, visitors can explore museums and historical sites that showcase the city's past as a vital trading post and a center for wool and sheep farming. One of the city's main attractions is the nearby Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve famous for its soaring granite towers, pristine lakes, and diverse wildlife, including guanacos, foxes, and condors.

Buenos Aires
The capital city of Buenos Aires has an almost palpable pulse that resonates through every aspect of life. With architecture that blends the old world with the new, there's always a jaw-dropping facade or building to catch your eye, such as the iconic presidential palace, Casa Rosada or Palacio Barolo, designed to represent Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The basement and ground floor represent Hell, while the first-to-15th stories stand for Purgatory, and the 16th through to the 22nd floors represent heaven. Outside, the city's streets dazzle with a kaleidoscope of sites and sounds, from bustling public markets and street performers dancing the city's famous tango, to graffiti artists and live plays and productions. Stroll through the streets and drink in the atmosphere of this passionate, beautiful city.

Santos
Set along the coast of São Paulo state, Santos heaves with its century-old rich and diverse history. Founded in 1546, the city holds the distinction of being one of the oldest in Brazil. Originally settled by Portuguese explorers, Santos quickly became a vital port for trade and maritime activities, notably during the colonial era, when it played a crucial role in the export of commodities like coffee and sugar and the Santos Coffee Exchange (Bolsa Oficial de Café) remains a landmark, reflecting the town's historical ties to the coffee industry. As one of the more affluent towns along the coast, the town's historical importance is apparant everywhere; just take a stroll through the pretty streets to see the well-preserved colonial architecture and buildings reflecting the cultural influences of its past. Today, Santos is a dynamic blend of past and present; a bustling city known for its thriving port, beautiful beaches, and vibrant urban atmosphere with a healthy respect for its maritime legacy.

Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro is one of those rare locales that needs to be experienced in order to understand the spell it casts on all who visit its shores. Rio is Brazil's vibrant metropolis, captivating everyone with its electrifying energy and striking natural beauty. Nestled between lush mountains and sparkling beaches, the city boasts iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Samba rhythms infuse the air during the world-famous Carnaval, while the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches draw sun-seekers year-round. The city's infectious joie de vivre is matched by its warm and welcoming Carioca culture. Whether exploring historic neighborhoods like Santa Teresa or reveling in the colors of the Escadaria Selarón, Rio de Janeiro entices with its fusion of history, passion, and tropical allure. Little wonder that the entire city is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its food, music, scenery, and inimitable energy and spirit all combine to make Rio de Janeiro an unquestionable bucket list destination.

Cape Town
While it might sound like hyperbole, the southernmost tip of Africa truly is one of the most stunning parts of the world with spectacular scenery, sweeping beaches, two oceans, and enough attractions to make even the most jaded of traveler blissfully happy. The city sits at the foot of Table Mountain which dominates the entire region. Part of a national park, the mountain features several hiking trails and even cable cars to take you to the summit where an unforgettable view awaits. If you prefer to keepcloser to the sea, then head to the V&A Waterfront. Named after England’s Queen Victoria and her son, Prince Alfred, the waterfront is where you'll find lots of shops, a food and craft market featuring lots of local good, and even an aquarium.

Durban
Carressed by the deep blue of the India Ocean, Durban, South Africa’s third largest city is renowned for its vast, golden beaches. In fact, the city’s bustling seaside promenade, filled with hotels, restaurants, and street vendors is known as the Golden Mile, and is where the city's rich multicultural heritage comes alive in its diverse cuisine, markets, and festivals. For a unique perspective of Durban, hop into a three-wheeled “tuk-tuk,” taking in the historical buildings in the city center, as well as public parks and manicured gardens. Stop at the famous Victoria Street Indian Market, where you can visit temples, do some shopping, and sample some local delicacies, including a famous curry, a legacy of the Indian community in Durban.

Mombasa
As a result of being a trading hub for hundreds of years, enchanting Mombasa is a vibrant coastal city boasting a unique blend of Indian, Arabian, and African cultures. The city's diverse culture is reflected in its cuisine, music, and traditions. Swahili culture plays a significant role in shaping the city's identity, and visitors can experience its vibrant street markets, art galleries, and traditional music and dance. Take a trip to the the Old Town, the most exotic part of Mombasa. Along its narrow, cobblestone streets you’ll find many mosques; you might even hear the haunting sound of the faithful being called to prayer. On the pier, vendors offer a variety of arts and crafts like Zanzibar-styled chests and carved soapstone. A swatch of the vividly printed African fabrics worn by local women are also popular keepsakes. Beyond the city, Mombasa serves as a gateway to popular tourist destinations like Diani Beach, Tsavo National Park, and the Kenyan coast's stunning marine life.

Male
A tropical paradise in the Indian Ocean, Male is a treasure trove of pristine beaches, colorful coral reefs, and crystal-clear waters. A tiny dot of land covering an area of approximately one square mile, the island of Malé (pronounced "maaley") is among the largest of the miniscule coral islets of the Maldives, the country's political, business and cultural center. Sugar-white beaches are sanctuary to countless sea birds, while coral reefs host an endless variety of exotic fish and marine life.

Mumbai
Explore Mumbai, the home of Bollywood and the dizzying commercial capital of India. Known as the city of dreams, Mumbai offers exhilarating experiences. Formerly known as Bombay, this city of temples where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, is home to extraordinary UNESCO treasures including the Elephanta and Ellora Caves, Agra Fort, and the Red Fort Complex. Overland journeys may be arranged to the exquisite Taj Mahal and the 2019-inscribed Jaipur Rajasthan, known also as the Pink City and revered for its colonnaded City Palace complex with royal gardens and courtyards.

On the Red Sea coast, this small city offers beautiful beaches and glorious weather, even snorkeling and diving among the offshore reefs. More intriguingly, it serves as the gateway to Luxor on the west bank of the Nile River, where the Valley of the Kings reveals the elaborate tombs and underground mausoleums of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Ramses II.
