A former World War II military base, this cactus-dotted island is now home to the region's main airport, and the port of departure on your Galapagos vacation.
North Seymour is a small island just north of Baltra. It is home to the largest colony of frigate birds in the Galapagos.
The island’s low-lying landscape is covered with colorful saltbush, scrub, and giant prickly pear cactus.
The visit at Santa Fe begins with a wet landing on the small beach in Barrington Bay on the northeast side of the island.
Hike up to the cliff top for sweeping views of the island's barren peaks and the beach below. Punta Pitt is the only place in the Galapagos where you can find all three species of Booby seabirds in one spot.
Here we have the opportunity to visit the small waterfront town of Puerto Baquerizo, the administrative capital of the islands.

Punta Moreno is one of the least visited sites on Isabela due to its remote location and difficult access.
