Bar Harbor is a coastal paradise, with its New England charm, mountain top views and overflow of natural beauty. Bar Harbor has a way of making you slow down, appreciate nature and those you are with as you admire the changing beauty, from glistening sunshine to thick fog. Known as the gateway to Acadia National Park it is famed for outdoor adventure.

Freechoice: Explore the cliffs, rocky coves, glacier-carved lakes, and dense forests of Acadia National Park, or discover the historic district of Bar Harbor, from Cadillac Mountain, Sieur de Monts Springs and the communities of Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor, before finishing at an authentic Lobster Pound for lunch. Lighthouses, lobsters and long stretches of beach are synonymous with Portland, Maine, but the city has much more to offer: Victorian architecture, craft breweries, a thriving arts scene and world-class cuisine. At this time of year, the east coast’s famous fall foliage is everywhere, so it will be impossible to miss the brilliant red, orange and yellow trees.

Freechoice: Explore Portland’s working waterfront on foot through the streets of this charming area and enjoy a progressive lunch from dine-in and to go restaurants, pubs, markets and artisanal shops, or learn to paint while taking in Maine's natural beauty with a painting class for all levels. Step foot in one of the oldest cities in the United States, founded in 1630 and steeped in history and culture. Boston is known as one of the most walkable cities in America, and one of the easiest to explore. While it is an intimate city, its cultural diversity makes it feel much larger. Boston has something for everyone.

Freechoice: Discover Boston’s illustrious history and famous residents as you embark on a guided walking tour past numerous historic sites along the red-bricked Freedom Trail, or get a taste of Boston's historic Italian quarter on a fun food walking tour. Alternatively, meet with a Harvard student who will serve as your tour guide through Harvard, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, or take in Boston’s iconic sights along the Freedom Trail and through the heart of Boston in a World War II style amphibious vehicle.

Revisit the careers of Red Sox greats like Ted Williams, Babe Ruth, and Carl Yastrzemski, celebrate the club’s numerous World Series titles, and tour famous stadium locales like the ‘Green Monster,’ ‘Pesky’s Pole,’ and the Fenway Park Living Museum.

Beautiful beaches, welcoming locals, and a rich creative history. The diversity of Provincetown is what makes it unique. From sailors to artists, fishermen to authors, people are drawn to the Cape Cod highlight.

Freechoice: Experience Provincetown through the eyes of the infamous 17th-century Anne Hutchinson, or join a walking tour with your local guide. Alternatively, enjoy true local wines, wine jelly and sauces using fruit that are native to the area at Plymouth Bay Winery.

Newport is the global centre for yachting, and a perfect destination for Scenic Eclipse. With expansive sea views, awe-inspiring architecture and an inviting coastal charm, Newport glistens like a well-polished gem. Admire the opulent summer residences along cliff-top Bellevue Ave and the preserved Colonial-era architecture and landmarks at seemingly every turn.

Freechoice: Enjoy a walk on the stunning Cliff Walk followed by a visit to one of Newport’s grandest mansions, The Breakers, and take in the sights of the Gilded Age mansions that dot the waterfront, or climb aboard an America’s Cup sailing yacht for a thrilling sailing experience.
