Cruise Description 16 Night Cruise sailing from Venice to Marseille aboard Crystal Symphony.

The Mediterranean is home to so much: great works of art, grandiose architecture, and mouth-watering gastronomy. But all these highlights are eclipsed by the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, which you can enjoy in person on this voyage. Begin with an overnight in Venice, then sail to three days in Croatia. Naples follows, then a day in Rome. Gear up next, for the high-octane buzz of the GP, but enjoy also the close but quiet port of Villefranche. Finish your voyage with Corsica, Sardina, and Marseille.

Highlights of this cruise:

Venice
One of the world`s most enchanting cities, Venice is comprised of more than 100 separate islands and a labyrinthine of canals laced together by a string of 400 intricate bridges. A whimsical stroll through the city leads to a hidden world of ornately decorated piazzas and a legacy of Baroque architecture. Admire the richness of St. Mark`s Basilica and the lavishness of the Palazzo Ducale.

Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is one of the most recognizable cities in Europe. Behind the walls, find sleek Venetian-style buildings and a rich Slavic culture. Home to lavender, olive oil, and gorgeous beaches, Dubrovnik will leave a lasting impression on all your senses.

Rome
Discover the charming port town of Civitavecchia, the gateway to Rome and the treasures of the Eternal City. Venture through Civitavecchia, noted for its fine seafood and beautiful monuments. Then, travel to Rome, with more than 2,500 years of history and ancient landmarks that will leave you with memories for a lifetime.

Monte Carlo
An ancient principality steeped in rich and colorful history, Monaco was bought from the Genoese in 1309 by the Grimaldis, who still rule as the world`s oldest monarchy - presided over today by Prince Albert.

Marseille
Marseille is France`s oldest city and one of the Mediterranean`s premier ports. Amid the big-city bustle, the old port is a quaint landscape of historic charm: colorful fishing boats sail past the imposing Fort Saint-Jean, narrow streets wander among ancient churches and cobbled squares, while the venerable Basilica overlooks the scene from the hilltop above.
